Cool - I remember seeing screens a long time ago that looked bloody realistic! hope it's like how it looks... Does demo have online play?

ive been playing the demo for some hours now and it is good. THe graphics are good but in the demo you can only go up to 1024x768 res so doesn't look that sharp at the mo even with AA turned on.
The water really looks that good though (as in the photo above).

Just go to EA website - Gamespot requires a free sign up to download it 546mb ... I'll be downloading it when I go back to uni.
Best thing about all the battle field games is the online game play - it's so fun
Currently downloading Juiced atm 2GB!!! (and going rather slowly  ) ... Handling will be shit, but online play should be a laugh in juiced.

Was just the same as the others until I started joining squads etc in the battles, now is a whole new game

they have left sooo much stuff out tho on the demo.
for example you cantshoot through stuff..
be warned tho.. forthose of you with ati cards just becarefull it might not work..
doesnt work on my 256mb 9200 but does on my bros 128 9800 pro
(im getting a 6800Ultra  )

S'funny, it let me use 1600x1200 with maxed settings......it just ran bloody jerkily when in heavy combat.
Looks very smooth on 1024x768 with the useful settings on High and everything else on Medium.

I must have been playing a different demo, because I managed to shoot an enemy foot-soldier through both side windows on a jeep...

then try shoot a soldier through a door,
if ou have seen the videos it should make a hole in the door, visable from bothsides.

no its not..
ive tried 6 different drivers, including omega, dna and catalyst drivers.. and none of them work

This demo is amazing - got mine on pre-order from play.com (£28 - bargain!)
A member of the clan I'm in can't run it with his nVIDIA 4800ti but if he puts his old ATi card in it works - lol
Those screenshots at the top are what it'd look like with one hell of a rig running duel 6800 ultras in SLi mode, the game looks amazing but not quite that good for the masses!!
Still a top notch game and probably will be game of the year in most magazine and websites.

go to your video options and turn smart shader off. then make sure your using 5.1 catalyst drivers.
