i have a set of corsa c clocks (instrument cluster) with 14016 miles on them, taken from a rear ended breaker car. these simply plug in and WILL alter your mileage up or down

they wont plug straight in mate cos then you'll have someone elses miles on your car. the only way you can put them in is by taking the dials apart and replacing the needles and mats.

nope, thats where your wrong, the new dials plug straight in and read the mileage on the dials. however, if someone plugs tech2 into your car they can see it`s actual mileage.

won't make bugger all difference, mileage is stored in the ECU

again read what is said, it will display 14016 and count up as normal, the true mileage can only be accessed by tech2 (vauxhalls diagnostic computer).

i am a vauxhall tech, do not post shite unless you know what you are talking about.
