Mate of mine showed me how to do it a while back with compound G3 making sure the mop was kept wet otherwise the paint would burn up

u dont have to use water u know....at my work place...i dont think any1 wet's the head..when they polish...i know i dont anyway !!

just make sure u stay away from edges tho..because thats where ull burn thru !

u have to use g3 wet or it will burn through the clear coat

though if u use 3m or menzerna style polish u dont have to cos its water based and is quite a watery texture

we use 3m fast cut at work,comes out a treat as long as u use the right heads and use 3m machine polish afterwards,g3 isnt really a great product to use

had ago at this myself just b4 PVS.itrs not as easy as u would think. well i didnt push hardenough n it went cloudy lol

james try using G10 its a finer version, its meant to be fordarker colours but it works a treat on all colours

i prefer farecla to 3M, always disappointed with the finish of 3M especially its handglaze wax, that is poo

when he did mine he used 3 different ones in order working down and then polished
