Dunno about you, but I think meets are a bit boring. We seem to all turn up to a car park look at each others cars, eat some crappy fast food then go home down here.
Was thinking that we could get a private booking on a Go Kart track for say 2 hours, the price is roughly £300-£400 for a group of 20 people so it would work out at not much more than £20 per person. They normally organise some warm up laps, then you have a race to finish off starting on a proper starting grid. If we went to a decent place we could meet up, chat about cars, have a race have some food and drink then cruise on home.
Much better then standing in a cold carpark on a cold winter evening
Would organise it somewhere thats central for the people who are interested... I would say Daytona in MK, other suggestions needed though

I nearly made it to the Cambridge one years ago but Stu and I crashed and we went home on an AA truck.
Watch this space on interesting meet venues

Worth a try at a guess... Daytona seems quite expensive I think. Though, they are good

Yeh i'll be up for it - get a load of people and book a Gran Prix (heats and semi finals and final + trophys included) - usually something like £35? a head...
I'd prefere an out door track though - as found with south west karting, there were some really narrow bits where basically even though you carried the speed better you couldn't get past.
I've been to Daytona in London - that was quite good and big. Not seen the one in MK, but Daytona is usually quite good quality!
