how long does it take to transfer money from one bank to another????

Yes I am talking from personal experience here.

It won't show up till day 3 in your account, and it'll be cleared funds when you do see it.

It wil show up the day after banking it but won't be able to take out till 3 days

i use to bank my cheque thurs, see it fri, able to take it out sat

I suppose it depends on who you bank with as well - I'm with HSBC.

Some people with Lloyds TSB for example might see something in their account on a saturday instead of the following monday like in my case.

It depends how the money is transferred if via BACS it'll take 3 working days if by CHAPS it will be same day
