hey, i recently had a post up about the best amp for my sub for under £200. the sub is a 12" Audiobahn 1000w max 500w rms sub, dual voice coil, 2 or 8 ohm operation. the best amp you came up with was the JBL 601.1 . i think i shud now be able to stretch to £300, would this change your amp choice? or would you use the £100 for something else? ie. speakers, tv screen , whatever. * or maybe a cheap amp for front speakers? NO STUPID REPLIES IN THIS ONE PLZ

The JBL GT4 is cheap sub that can take shed load's off power and it's one of the best sub's about for the £££ The GT3 was ok but not as good as the GT4 but theres a new sub out from JBL i think its called the GTO 1202D
cant say how that sound's. But i have heard 2 set's of JBL GT4 one set in sealed box and i did not like that and the secend set in a ported box and that was cool. IM looking to get 2 x JBL P1220e
