Was driving down the street on Friday, past a Rover garage and saw one of thier pearlescent painted cars.... I had to do a u-turn straight away and find out the name of the paint. The man must have thought I was a bit of an idiot, which is debatable.. He was very impressed with his paint and told me how it was a £1000 extra option for it to be done... Was this colour -



Then walking out with the man to have a closer look I pointed the paint on my car... Suddenly he looked disapointed about the paint job on the MG he was so proud of before.....

paint looks nice,

but you could platinum plate the thing, and it would still be shit. you cant polish a turd

The first thing the guy said to me was the whole car is for sale. I was like "no, whats that paint colour called and where can I get it from?".

Wasted it all on the paint. Somone should have reminded them that they needed good cars to put the paint on first of all.

not properly the paint where its been touched up/sprayed will stand out like a sore thumb, for a job where you cant tell the whole lot needs to be sprayed

BTW its not rover paint. its from a subcontrator (monogram)
