how do i explain....

when i'm on the motorway or a smooth surphase... the steering wheel starts to shake at around 60-70ish... then it goes away for 10 secs then it comes back for 5 secs or so the goes away again and so on....

things i have done.. changed the rear wheels onto the front... check thats the blots are tight.... starting to think it could be a cv fecked..

anyone have any idea's?

diff bearings? steering rack or track rod bent slightly?

hit any major items with a wheel recently?

barings are quite new as are the trackrod ends and balljoints and havent hit anything

ball joint? bottom arm bushes? tie bar bushes or bolts loose?

bottom arm bushes are poweflex items about 1 year old... tie bar bushes are... erm.... i dunno how old

i just cant understand why its doing it periodicly and not constant...

The wheels need balancing, my car used to do this so bad, took my car in for a service and they told me the wheel balancing was way off, its perfectly smooth now, doesnt vibrate at all.

tracking was done 2 weeks ago....

getting new tyres this week so i'll get the wheels balanced then...
