been and had my car put on the computer today and i need a lambda sensor and a air flow meter not sure where to get the air flow meter from tho can anyone help out?

scrap yard is best bet as they arnt cheap
i got one for £50 in the end from someone on vxlscc

i tell you what do a search for online parts companies because we once put a request in for an ecu as couldnt find one local and about 6 companies rang to say they had one

You said your ECU is telling some muppet mechanic that your AFM and lambda are bonjo'd....
Are they really?!??!?!
Give them a once over with carb cleaner or such like.... cheaper and easier than buying new/poss dodgy 2nd hand parts

when the corsa had a faulty air flow meter squirting carb cleaner down the inlet whilst holding the revs cured it
however it wasnt long before it played up again so just ended up replacing it
definitely worth a try at cleaning like adam said

ok then didnt no about the carb cleaner while its running i will try tomorow think its gonna rain now got quoted £35 for the lambda sensor is that about rite?

done wat u said today to the air flow no change tho and i cudnt do the lambda cuz it was to hot to touch after i went and fetched my tools thanx for the advice tho

hmmm i gotta get a throttle position sensor from vaux 2morow but iam not sure where it is the sensor i mean any help ive looked on net wiv no joy
