you should tell the guy on VVOC that mentioned the 6.0 VXR that theres is next to NOTHIN tuning wise for it and the 5.7 has more tuning mods than you can believe! it's one of the best tuning engines in the GM range imo

We went to tatton stars and sripes car show today full of american muscle cars and we parked this up, when we got back there was a crowd of people round asking loads of questions having there picture taken with it... Full stainless exhuast and tubliour manifolds, prodicing around 410BHP with 360 at the wheels... feels much quicker than any imprezza / evo etc i have been in and will pull over 180MHP but i dont think he'll be doing that as its being pampered now...

I had a Monaro VXR up my arse earlier today. Flame Red I think it was? Anyway, if I had an SS Ute, I would have definately had a go.

Somehow, I don't think an Astra with an X14XE engine is much of a match with a Chevy V8 engine.

i thought his previous tuned V6 GSI Vec was quick... but this thing feels like a supercar, definaltey sub 5secs to 60.. and then hit 3rd gear and it feels like another launch pushes back your stomach and head and does the same in forth to 140mph then you have 5th and 6th to max out after that too!

This is stage 2 but your right the tuning avalible for this engine is amazing he can still cam it, throttle boddy, supercharge etc..

I would say anybody who wants to dream about the perfect car should have this at the top..

My mate who is a proud petrol head who owns it has worked very hard to get this car researching into cars for years owning lots of performance cars including a 343BHP cossie and i can now see why, V8 so no turbo to worry about, full or leather and toys inside, very very comfy coupe, rare and gets alot of attention, mind blowingly quick, under warrenty the pros to this car are amazing and alot cheaper than a BMW M5 and to be honest after the attention it got today i know which one i'd prefer!!

the Red SLR yes... it has loads of power but it's not got the standard 5.0litre V8

it has a 8.0 litre with about 800bhp

the rest arent bad although my uncles white one (in group pic) done a 1/4 mile in 13.59 seconds

that Monaro is noice

h18, since the LS1 and LS2 are essentially the same engine, but with a different bore and stroke, many tuning parts are interchangable between the two.
A company in Sydney has just started producing and building twin turbo kits, with outputs up to 900bhp for the LS2

Macca, that thing will eat imprezas and evos for lunch
