Did GM own Lada?

I noticed on my gasket packs for my 20XE that it said the fitiment was for a 20XE then it listed Opel, Vauxhall and Lada. Does this mean that some Lada's came with 20XE's in them? If this is the cas anyone know where I could find a Lada spark plug cover, just for the comedy purpose of turning up to a show and saying I had a Lada engine conversion in my Corsa

if they did, then it probably would have been an 8v version, so you wouldn't be able to get a plug cover.

i'd be interested to know if it was right though.
