My mates dad passes him broken down on the side of the road in his 60's Aston Martin. The week after they said on Top Gear that they wouldn't have an Aston because they were unreliable . He beeped and Waved Now he's written to the show!

he said he did do it in a moment of anger, alarm had just gone off while he was at daughters school play, so he phoned up there and then, complained and basically asked for money back, which they did the next day and sent someone to collect it same day.

ford has lent him a DB9 while he makes his mind up

they would after spending £126 000 on a car which was never right - and Im sure trading standards and courts would have something to say if the car company argued

My dad went into an Audi dealership and threw the Keys to a brand new A4 at them and said the car was a death trap and after 6 months with it - and various repairs he didnt feel safe - he got full compensation for time spent and aggrivation caused and a top spec S4 for 2/3 weeks - then a brand new A4 turned up - same deal money wise but they spec'd it up

Good on Clarkson I say.

£126,000 on a car you would expect it to be perfect to start with, not have to take it back and forth to the dealership.

Bloke at work had a Vectra 3.2 CDX top spec with every extra in the world, it turned out it had dodgie brakes and the cruise control kept going wrong, so he got sick of it, took it back to Vauxhall demanded a refund, got it and they got him a brand new top spec silver Vectra GSi with 19 inch wheels and he loves it.

Why would he give it back? He could have flogged it in a day for a 20k + premium!
