The Aliens did drink Earth water i think in one sean and dont forget they did captur Humans and came into contact with them

yes, and how perfect condition the house was in that his wife was in at the end compared to everything else

He might have literally got over the hill then ran away again.

When it came back over the hill in that scene (the alien ship) how come it was on fire? Did'nt think we could effect them with weapons? Must have been damaged somewhat by LAW's and MILAN's
