I used to LOVE Goldeneye YEARS AGO and used to sit around for hours with my mates getting smashed palying the 4 player mode
I bought one a while back and was not impressed at all with the graphics at all Just wasn't the same game
I bumped into one of my old mates today and he said we used to have the graphics enhancer cartridge thing and it made it loads better and how i remember!!! Can anyone confirm this??

The N64 had an expansion pack that went in the top of the console, that doubled the RAM from 4 to 8MB allowing some games to run higher resoloutions, or run at all.
Goldeneye was released 2-3 years prior to the expansion pack and so did not support it.
The spirtual sequel to goldeneye, perfect dark required the expansion pack for 4 players, and looked better as a result

I just downloaded all my old nintendo 64 games off the net and use them with emulators, that way you get a decent 60fps
