im, thinking of restoring a GSi,

how much do they go for, a decent looking one with 110k

basically im trying to work out costs, and whether it is a good investment

i would say 1700 for an immaculate one that has been look after right?

thanks for all your help!

It wont be an investment as you will never make your money back. First thing would be engine re-build on 80% of them still on the road

yep 200 quid, it neds a lot of TLC, things like rust on tail gate around rear wiper, rust on door, needs new windscreen, needs 1 alloy, and repairs to front bumper! i dunno, 110k, drivers seat has two holes in, hmmm, o yeah an arch missing and all 4 jacking point covers missing lol.

apart from that its perfect lol.

Restoring a car is not an investment.

Botching it up and selling it on might possibly be, but if you want to end up with a mint car worth more than what you put in, don't try it with a 110k Corsa.
