i fitted a new cat and lambda sensor to my GSi because it failed badly on high emmsions for the MOT !!
do you think the chances it will pass now are high?? as a CAT and LAMBDA sensor are main cause of high emmisions!!
and ANY precautions or things i should or not do for the first few weeks/miles with the new sensor and cat??
e.g. using additives, injector cleaners, carbon cleaners, high revs/full throttle, high speeds etc

it passed... HOWEVER it took a while for the 3 readings HC, CO and Lambda to come down!!!
i guess because i did not use original parts for the CAT or Lambda????
or the new parts are just lazy at the moment and getting used to it lol????
the engien was HOT when i took it their, but i did not take it for a thrash before hand, you think that may of helped???
