which is best 1 or 2 subs? what size is the best - i've heard that the bigger you go the worse the distortion gets.

eh? The bigger size sub the lower the notes, but the less punchy the kick/bass is

as for the number of them - more subs will push more air, so the louder it is. However, personally i would stick to getting a decent single sub like an RE sub etc

If you can fit it go with 2 x 15 with a sh1t loads of power. This will give you a realy nice deep and low sound

Ive got the one sub, its good enough. Provides excellent sound quality and deep bass notes, depends if your after good sound quality or just want everyone to look at you

remember, it also depends what music you play - no point in having two 15s and playing rnb and hiphop as it wont really pull it off

personally i would stick to 12s as they are a nice all-rounder, can give you the punches, and offer low notes to a certain extent.

however, like i said, if you want power look into RE subs you wont be disappointed

I've got 2 10" subs in my corsa, and had 2 10" subs in my nova before this, and they seem 2 cope well with the music i listen to, Rock/Metal/Rap/Rnb/hiphop
