Does anybody know how much it would cost to re-seal my windscreen? A corner has come off and will not go back in . It's really annoying now, and wind noise on the motorway is terrible

If your on Fully Comp on your Insurance, you can claim it off that. (depends on which company your with tho).

has the glass cracked? or you on about the rubber seal?, just get some sealant and squeeze it under the rubber then press hard on it for awhile till dry

I've tried sealing the thing. Didn't work. I used no-more-nails though? The glass is fine. Like brand new. The seal is making a bid for freedom though!

new seal might help, or re-fitting the original one.
dunno how much the part is but probably pay half an hours labour unless you catch them at a good time.

Just phoned RAC. They think there is somewhere in Southampton I can go. £60 to have the thing set. And that's if the screen doesn't break when they take it out . I'll try Auto Glass too...

i looked in yellow pages, asked a few of them, all said 100. thats with the tint thingy at the top of windscreen

I got a new screen supplied and fitted for £65 after flying plywood boards on the motorway hit mine.
