My girlfriends dad has a 1.7 design which i found for him at a local dealers, and that is a good spec, the same as the sport.

Dont get the 1.9l DTI as they are renowned for the injector units going and are around the £1k mark to replace. And i believe they go for around the £800 mark second hand too.

there are late registered design models still available too. So you could have a brand new one if you wanted

Picked it up for £7k, with 2years warrenty left.

can pick them up for anywhere from £4-5k up

You can get a 2.0 DTI SXI which is fairly high specced, ie leccy windows, air con, cd player, 16"s etc
