I've just been offered a Calibra lump conversion for £500 by my sisters b/f.(The engine has been fully rebuilt)

Is this a good price???

He also said he would respray the full car and fit V6 brakes and new suspension for a total price of £1500 inc the conversion.

Should i snap his hands off at this price? I have the money in the Bank.

He has his own business and has done 6 conversion so far.

Also what would the insurance be like??

I am 20 with 3 years ncb and no points.

Cheers
J
