looking to buy a laptop,im abit of a laptop virgin so needs some advice?
i want it for , photography/image maipulation,wireless broadband connection,music , all the useuall say microsoft suite, word,excel ect, want it to be quik ect ect
what one to go for?

was thinking this, i use there pc's alot and must say ive never had any probs, there tech support is pretty ace as well

Integrated wireless is a bit neater but usually more expensive than finding a good laptop and adding a PCMCIA wireless card.
Check weight also, if you want true portability get a light one.
Other than that usual computer advice stands, get as much RAM as possible and a hard drive to store all you need to - if you have a desktop PC also then you don't need big and you can concentrate on finding one with the best processor.

the idea is when i go abroad with the r.a.f i can take my hobby(photogrpahy) with me, so a laptop to that spec with wireless ect any particular models in mind ian?
