Been toying with the idea of a new car for a while now, I am not convinced i shuld sell the corsa but just looking into what realistic oppertunities i could sell the car for and get.

Basically so far i have found an S3 to be the best all rounder, for speed 4WD, equipment/comfort and size.

I want an Evo but i think the insurance is going to be a killer as with a P1 (seen a few cheap ones)

Now i know petrol costs etc i can afford as it might not need ot be my main daily driver, but servicing wise, i know Bishi's need a good fiddle every 6000miles? is it? But what are servicing costs actually like? I mean an Audi maybe a better buy but i allready have one german car and its fucking sick the amount of money the charge you to service it, so if bishi are more reasnable then an evo would seem a little more practical as it may need them more often but at least id be payying money out for a reason!!

Thoughts/opinions on costs?

Jap car rarely go wrong, German cars not too sure but if they do go wrong expect to pay more to get it fixed like you say.

my mate owns an a3 at the minute and another works on evo's for his job, both are expensive s3 is probably the more sensible option as they are reliable if looked after and its easier to find a non abused/track day example. ever considered a bmw e36 m3 evo?

considered it mk4 but i like turbos

If i did get an E36 it would have to be the convertible and they are still quite pricey for what they actually are

When they need servicing nik, what do they replace/tune while your there? Does itthe cost vary? I.e whats an average service like? if there is one

4WD is going to kill tyres i guess
