right i've read the wiring diagram in the haynes manual, the fuel guage wire is the same as fog lights, and when i switch fogs on, the light on the dash dont come on, so i'm guessing there wired wrong.

all is then sorted apart from the ECU light. the 2x brown and blue wires are for "engine warning light" but there isnt anywere for them to go to, and i've cheacked http://windmill-farm.co.uk/digidash/ and that has the browna nd blue as ECU light, but doesnt have anywere on the plugs for them, so i'm stuck with that one? what did you do rob, or you just left it?

i realy need the EML as the xe aint long been put in, and EML could save the car from breaking badly

my digidash didnt have a fog light tell tale, i had to bodge one in. and even when i tried to use the foglight wire it didnt work, had to wire it direct to the switch.
cant remember the fog light and fuel being the same colour, or maybe i was just lucky and got it right :S

wel i tried the fog and fuel ones, on both, and now i "think" its working, the fuel guage shows were abouts i think it should be, so fingers crossed, and the EML comes on, and then goes off once started so
