personally, id take the sfi box as the alternatives, although fit better, are crap.

sfi box is the size it is for a reason, you loose tourque by fitting say the powercap.

just my opinion

Spot on.

The SFI box keeps a reserve of air for when full throttle is applied. If you remove this the torque is shifted up the rev range.

i basically said that on mkcruise as i remember you saying it before and basically got a slating.

Use the ecotec pipe, no chopping of the bulk head required and just as good if not better than the powercap

the powercap is effectively the same idea as the top hat on the let just induction side is other way round if you know what i mean.

the people that slagged you off on mkcruise then have absolutely no idea what theyre on about. must have read thre gives 99bhp increase in car mags and have beleived it.

although the inlet manifold on the xe's is complete and utter shite, design is terrible, but was done so for a reason. think off all the metered air stored in the sfi box, instant response, compared to that of the power cap.

just the type of injection system, not actually the name of the black box thing.

i have to add though, that my xe corsa has a powercap on it, lol
