1989 VW GOLF GTI for sale:- spec list..
ENGINE-
Totall standard apart from Trimsport power roar with K&N freeflow air filter, new clutch, reconditioned head, six stud manifold and down pipe with new genuine standard system. New starter motor and fuel pump. 90% of parts are genuine VAG.
CHASSIS-
FK coilovers with 40mm drop, Fibi strut tops and wishbones with poly brushes, new steering rack (adjustment on both ends), Goodridge braided hoses with black diamond grooved discs and Ferodo DS performace pads, and standard drums on rear. Neuspeed top and bottom strut braces. New genuine VAG bushes throughout chassis.
STYLING-EXTERIOR-
New electric mohair hood, electric roof, new top tint wind screen and new drop glasses. All window rubbers and beads have been renewed. Early type single headlamp grill with chrome surround, smoked cross hair headlamps, crystal front indicators, crystal rears and cystal side repeaters with wolfsburg badges below. Boot de-badged replaced with wolfsburg badge. New chrome strips. Alloy replica filler cap, chrome wiper arms and stainless steel blades.
Lots of chroming throughout the car and nany alloy parts supplied by Trimsport- Car was on their stand at International.
INTERIOR-
Electric recaros with new bolsters and rear headrests retrimmed in Dove grey as well as door cards, gear gaitor and handbrake gaitor by Andy at Snappy gaitors. Also mirror adjusters and air vents trimmed in matching leather. New Rivage carpet and rear parcel shelf, and new black centre consul and knee bar trim. Boot install is simple but effective with JBL components. Kenwood cd system. Audioscape door builds with focal 6" speakers again trimmed by Snappy Gaitors. Cat 1 alarm with central locking.
WHEELS-
Refurbished 15" BBS RM's with new bolts and polished rims and flush alloy centres, and BBS centre rings have been chrommed with MKIV BBS centre caps. Fitted with Toyo Proxes 195 x 45 x 15( These wheels are available seperate from car for the price of £1050 ono as another set of high quality wheels will be available with car)
This car is immaculate, completely resprayed in its original colour by top paint shop in Fife, mileage is 127,000m and has had 4 owners from new. Taxed and MOT'd.
