Well as above its free so it wont cost me much, will cost a couple of quid after pics etc!
i was gonna put the car up forsale at donny but as i got nothing to lose should i put it on 2moro!
i dont really wanna sell it just yet as i would like to have it when the TotalVauxhall feature comes out but i could set the reserve really high and if its doesnt sell then ive only lost a couple of quid but if it did sell at a high price then i would have a big stack of cash!
really feel that its time to part with the car as ive had it 3 years now and ive done pretty much all i wanted, bar the engine work!

i not thinking of anything that great TBH next, all i have to spend is what i get for mine and if i can spend abit less then a few bills would be better paid off!
i dont wanna spend silly amounts of insurance either so ive been lookin at astra 1.8 SRi's, irmscher kit 18s, something like byrons old one, really gone off the big attention grabbing part of it now!

did look at the Cs aswell, insurance is obviously the same, but i feel i should move away from corsas as had this one for 3 years and had the purple one for 6 months before that!
and i feel if i had a corsa i would want to mod it more and the astra has a bigger boot so can finally do a decent install
but ive seen a 1.8 Sri 02 plate astra with 24Kmiles and the irmscher kit all round for £5800, so i would hope to get that for mine and so could get it pretty much straight away!

i loved the look of your old astra it was mint
ive seen silver ones with the irmscher kit on and all i would need is some coilovers and 18s and it would look good enough for me TBH!
im guessing the 1.8s are nippy enough, ive never really been to botherd about speed as long as i can keep up witht he 1.6 market id be happy!

get a 2.2 they have a v6 kinda sound to them
they are de tuned to lower the emmisions
after a chip they fly and they are not that silly to insure you dont need a sri model if your kitting it as a sxi is nearly the same spec minus a boot spoiler!

Good choice Sam mate!
I have a sxi 1.6 with the Irmscher kit - a lot better than my Corsa.

Whats this thing about RESERVES
I read that you are required a fee to have this option and if you set your reserve beween (i think) £50-£4999, the fee is caculated at 2% of your reserve. Items over £4999 the fee is £100. You only get the fee back IF YOU SELL the item.

i would love a 2.2 and they go for pretty mcuh the smae price, but its double on insurance for some reason
is that really all the difference between an sxi and sri, a spoiler, is it the same engine speed etc
i just looked on ebay and its the £6 fee thats free 2moro all other fees apply, so reserve fees apply and picture fees etc, il write it all up 2moro and then see how much it comes out at!
will still go up forsale at donny id not!

sam,
do exactly wat u said but set a high reserve and state u have the right to end the auction as it is for sale elsewhere so even if u get second thoughts or it goes above reserve but u still feel it isn't enough u can pull out

yeh exactly what i was gonna do!
the more i see astras the more i want one now, i wish someone would just pay what i wanted for the car or what i think its worth and then look after it as i would!
but thats dream land!

the popularity of your car makes me think somebody out there will be willing to pay for it, after all the work gone in and small touches do make it worth that little bit more....
i say give it time let ppl gain interest .etc do a long listing on eBay to let the masses see it and then see where it goes from there.
set yourself a high price but realistic price u won't go below then u won't be tempted by an ok'ish offer when if u waited another week or month u cud have had wat u wanted.
splitting it wud probably make you more money but you need to offset the hassle and labour involved in that.
hope this helps
