I'm going to be removing my door handles so they can be colour coded... now what can i do for the few days they'll be away being sprayed?
cover the area with a bag and tape it to stop water getting in? or...
and also does it make my car vulnerable?
Thanks

it will make your car vlnerable to thieves and stuff, all they would need to do is put there hand in the gap and your door is opened

hmmm, im not too sure, im trying to remember how big the whole is and how far away things are. In theory, even with the hole there all anyone could do is push down on the rod to open the door, as this is all the handle does. However, if your cars locked then this would still not do anthing.
The only way it would be really unsafe is if they can reach the bar connecting to the lock and pull this up to unlock it.
Personally tho, id think it could be worth it to put either ur old handles or go to a scrappies and get new ones for a tenner and throw them all. £10 for piece of mind i thinks worth it

i'd rather not be a rattle can master and even then ure talking about overnight to dry. i'm having them done properly so it doesnt crack or flake off under weathering and constant use - i refuse to cut corners when i may have to go back later and change it for the sake of a few pennies
i have a proximity alarm covering my driveway so anyone who goes on wud wake me up technically but i really cba to move all my boxing and car stuff out the garage - i dont live in a rough area but i dont wanna chance it - think i'll have to move some stuff

when i did mine and had the pair of handles that didn't fit properly, so i stuck them in the hole over night with some see through tape to keep them there.
just leave you car alone, but box it in with one of your parents cars.
