Hey, I got a new phone from Mobile Phone Direct on a Vodafone Tarrif.

The tarrif was described as £20 line rental, with half price line rental for the first 6 Months.

It turns out that its £20 for the first 6 months, and 40 after that

This isnt what I payed for, is there anything I can do about it?

Past 14 days, its been a month and Ive only ust got the vodafone welcome msg - which first gave me a clue about the wrong tarrif.

OoO that's a pisser. You might have to wait for 6 months and then change tariffs. You really should read the small print / T&C with these companies.

Its my first contract, and I bought it whilst at work - even my boss had a look at it and said it looked like a good deal.

I bet you got an 18 month contract?, what phone was it. On that site with the current phone deals it says with the half price of £20 (usually £40 in brackets) it's not even in the small print. It's right there on the deal when you click
