I had an email from Milsy (Maxpower mag) this morning asking me to find a powerful standard looking corsa/nova for a shoot out they are doing TOMOROW !!!!

Do you know of a standard-ish looking Nova or Corsa with big bhp that
would be capable of beating a supercar?
Basically we've been let down by a bunch of cars for a thrash tomorrow.
Have a cossie fiesta, t16 205 and mk2 golf 20vt ... and a supercar for
them to beat.
It's the skylines etc that have all dropped out because of problems so
we're left with these cars that all look quite standard. I'd like to
ding the jap cars now and get a vauxhall in. In fact, if it looked
quite motorsporty or modified but subtle that wouldn't be a problem -
just needs to be able to take on a supercar and hold it's own - to
60mph at least.
Any ideas, especially baring in mind it's tomorrow at Bruntingthorpe?
any takers for this guys n girls ??
you will get your car in a ncie pic in the mag as well as stats and times
i would myself but i cant make it up there... plus my car looks too "maxpower" Andy wants some subtle looking jobbies for this event...

depends what "supercar" they are bringing to play. if its any kind of new lambo or ferrari, i tihnk it will dust off pretty much anything on this site. what about the guy last week bragging about the 12sec quarter using NOS?
