gonna get myself a portable games console for when i go on my hols in 2 weeks time

what one should i get?

been looking at:

game boy advance (either sp or new micro) - small and relatively cheap with some wicked games

nintendo ds - little bit more expensive but with some good games. but will the dual screen thingy piss me off?

sony psp - expensive and the games dont really seem amazing. plus do i need it to play movies/music etc when all i really want it for is to play games

anyone know of any good deals on any of these at the moment? been scouring ebay but they all come with shitheap games like finding nemo and power rangers

I'd buy the PSP for coolness but the DS is good. If your only gonna use it on hols though Id invest in an advance for classic gaming experiences

I bought a PSP a couple of weeks ago and I must say I'm very impressed, the screen and graphics a top quality, it can do all sorts such as play movies and music. My only criticism is that there is only a limited range of titles available at the moment, none of the decent games seem to be appearing until mid Oct.

depends what you want and what games you like to play, really.

sony psp - not to my taste yet still to expensive and quite frankly all the games on there at the moment are re-releases of old ps2 games and crappy ones, nothing that is really worthy of having. that said if you like graphics and flashyness its ok, but if you prefair gameplay dont get it yet wait till some better games come out or its cheaper. if you get an old 1.50 version of ebay though, you can download games and run them off the memery card so free games also can use emulation on it ect, but you cant on the uk or amercian versions sony stopped it.

gameboy advance/micro - some really awsome games on here, quite cheap also, if you want to get the micro that will be great for taking away as its so small and easy to manage, litterally 1000's of games on there, and some that are really good e.g castlevania series, mario and lugi saga, all the rpg's if thats what you like.

nintendo ds - really good bit more expensive no were near as expensive as the psp though, some great games out at the moment such as mario 64 ds, meteos ect and some realy good ones being released this month the new castvania- dawn of sorrow, and advance wars ds. plus the ds also plays all the old gameboy advance titles so your never short of something to play.

up to you depends what games you like, or if you just want something flashy that looks nice like the psp?
