My stack dash has an air temp senson thing on it. But its for reading the outside temprature, so I didn't order it with that sensor (so it permanantly reads -99).
But I think any air temp sensor in the inlet will read it, so were gonna have a go at modifying it and wiring it up. When we have done it I'll let you know how it goes and what we used?

im meaning the one that is in the air intake pipe just after the air filter has a two wire connector going to it

Oh you man the air flow meter?
I was meaning on the top of the inlet (on a LET) after the air has been through the cooler.

Yep That could be it its a 1.6.
so the air flow meter is the one on the air inlet pipe at top left of engine bay ?

I dont even know what a 1.6 engine looks like LOL
No point in my guessing, only know on my engine
