Well finally the chassis is ready to be collected from dax after the weekend,
its a thicker walled round tube fully triangulated bike chassis with camber compensating front suspension.

Ours will be the first ever car engine using a bike chassis

The doner sierra for silly little parts has been collected,
the carbon dash, stack dials, carbon seats, wheels have been ordered

a special ZF diff, which has an adjustable slip unit in has been bought to go in a 7" ford housing.

The s200 engine has been stripped down and had a thorough service and check over, when car is built the engine shall have jenvey bodies and be running emerald management but thats a while off as yet!!

So its all coming togethor and starting to take shape

pics will be posted as soon as bits arrive and start being built

TTS offered us a great deal on supercharger but aim is to keep it as track car and not loose any driveability, it will be about 650 kg we beleive and just short of 300 bhp with headwork

so that will be plenty fast enough

Car will be at autosport and most of the jap shows next year. Kit car shows as dax are wanting to use it as there latest show/demo car!

speaking to people in japan etc about tuning, theres not a great deal that can be done internal wise bar cams as the engine works so well.

The exhaust system cannot be improoved everyone says that as looses something in one area over another.
Jtuner had a s2000 with 500bhp and that was a few internal like lowered compression ratio and that ran a hks turbo at 1.4 bar if i remember correctly!

why are you using a bike chassis but with a car engine? Just curious. Does it offer better handling or a weight saving?

bike chassis is round tube rather than old boix section, can be triangulated easier, is lighter and and has camber compensating front suspension
