My.20XE.is.now.for.sale.
I.bought.a.complete.Mk2.Astra.GTE.which.had.failed.MOT
on.rust,.engine.was.only.on.85k,.with.close.to.full.service
history.and.unmolested
It.was.transplanted.into.my.mk3.astra.by.capable.persons.(ste.nova.&.co )
Its.been.well.serviced.and.maintained,.has.had.the.breather.mod.done.so
that.crankcase.vapours.aren't.recycled.into.the.inlet,.also.had.the.plate.
underneath.the.rocker.cover.drilled.so.oil.drains.back.onto.the.cams.instead
of.spashing.down.the.inlet.
As.stated,.the.engine.has.a.coscast.head,(no.head.cracking.problems..aka.going.porous)
.and.as.its.from.an.early.1989.astra.also.has.the.larger.13mm.valve.guides.
as.well
The.engine.has.now.covered.103k,.has.had.the.sump.gasket.changed.by.using
the.8valve.rubber.wraparound.gasket,.it.hasn't.leaked.so.much.as.a.drop.in.
over.8months.since.it.was.done.
Regular.oil.and.filter.changes.every.6months,.slight.tapping.for.first.few.seconds
only.on.a.cold.morning.start,.goes.away.in.no.time.
I've.been.to.york.dragway.once.in.it,..acheived.a.15.3..1/4mile.with.no.mods
except.a.de-cat.and.K&N.style.filter.
Really.strong.engine,.has.never.smoked,.oil.has.never.needed.topping.up.in.
between.oil.changes,..to.be.honest.if.i.could.afford.to.keep.it.as.well.as.the.new.engine

I'm.after.£350.for.the.engine,.F16.gearbox,.Loom,.ECU,.AFM.etc.
Please.note.there.is.no.clutch.plate.as.i'm.using.the.F20.gearbox.and.needed.to.keep.it.
The.engine.is.currently.in.chester.at.ste.nova's.garage.where.it.was.taken
out.
He.is.willing.to.provide.delivery.for.minimal.cost.anywhere.along.the.A55/M56
corridor,.along.the.M6.down.to.stoke.and.up.as.far.as.blackpool.
