If its a coupe it will be a 1.5 single cam VTEC. Its not that great unless its a DOHC

Check what engine the civic is, I only really like the coupe's after they've had a bit of cash spent on them, but if it's a b16a'd bad boy get it

Civic is going to be a lot quicker if its the VTec 167bhp model, esp if the Golf is the 8v, which is sooo slow as its a big heavy car!

think r reg will be a 1.5 civic.
the vti coupe was only available in 99 and 00 iirc.
the silver and black are the same, just the later ones had facelift lights and different front bumper/grille.
worth getting a hatch vti for that sort of money over a base model coupe.

r reg for 3200 will b a DOHC vtec 1.6 162bhp, if no then ur gettin robbed as a 1.5 should b a lot less in my eyes.
