Considering selling the corsa and buying a Vectra GSi 2.5 99.5MY ->type.
I have become used to the performance of the 2.0 Corsa which is great but i really could do with a bigger car as next year i get maried and plan to start a family soon after the wedding. I dread the thought of parting with the Corsa i have owned it from new and we have done so much together but i would need to replace it with something a little bit special.
What are peoples opinions of the GSi and how do you think its performance would be compared to the corsa?

I'd keep your corsa, i love your car (as you may see from mine and how it looks slightly similar). But it isnt really a family car if you want something like that, is there no way you can keep it and get a vectra too?

Cant keep them both as missus will jack in her job to bring up the baby. I really dont want to get rid of it to be fair. The car is immaculate at the moment i have rescently put alot of effort and money into the car. The performance now is fantastic too and should be better later this week. i am fitting the Courtney 2.0 front springs and irmscher rear springs.

Steve you corsa mint,
I remember it from its feature in hpm afew years ago, personally id go for the vectra as the sound of a V6 would tempt me that way though as you say the veccy will be more pratical for family life, though surely the corsa could stay as a toy for the weekends/track days

Money saved on buying a practical over a sporty car could be put towards a good honeymoon, part deposit on a house, clothes and equpiment for your firstborn, loads of stuff. youve already got what sounds like a decent car you could still run that for fun
