Ive looked through a whole load of old posts and found nothing.
I have a funny rattling noise coming from what sounds like the passenger side at the front. Its like a nut or a bolt or a ball bearing or something is rolling around in a tube.
I mainly hear it when i am going round corners even if they are only small turns and sometimes when i come to a sudden stop.
Does anyone know what this could be? I dont know if its coming from behind the dash, the engine, the suspension or if its actually from under the passenger chair.
Ill be grateful for any suggestions as to what it may be cos its starting to drive me mad
thanks

Catalytic convertor is breaking up, and bits have made their way into the exhaust tubing, which gives you your weird noise.
Get an emmissions check done to see if the cat has died, or even take the system apart and have a look.

Ok it rained last night and on the way to work this morning i only heard the metal rolling noise once or twice.
If it was the cat the would the rain affect this?

are all wheel nuts tight, check under the bonnet see if anything is loose,if you can get the car up on a ramp so you can have a proper look underneath it

The suspension has been changed since i noticed the noise.
The noise is similar to a single marble rolling round in a tin.

well your battery might not be secure on the tray it sits on so it could be moving just a bit when you are turning

its hard to explain. the noise is like a ball bearing or a marble rolling round on metal or when you put a screw on a table and it rolls round a bit like that sort of noise
