was running very lumpy had loadz of fault codes
had few faults about egr so the egr valve has been blanked off, also had fault about air inlet tempreature sensor so that has been replaced
also was told that a dodgy knock sensor can throw up lots of random codes so that has also been changed
only other thing i need to do is get the wiring at the ecu checked by the guy that fitted the alarm to check that that side is ok as there was a fault with fuel pump or something and i reckon its to do with the alarm.
however i now think it is a case of incorrectly conected vacum pipes etc. i will try get some pics
could any1 shed any light on any other possibile faults
also pics of vacum pipes around the battery arae would be
cheers

The one that has the tape on it goes to the secondary solenoid valve. (arrowed on pic)
mine is taped off as i have removed the air pump. as long as the solenoid is connected electrically it will stop a fault code being generated.

is it plugged in to the throttle body?
try plugging the map pipe into the one you have the tape over.(brake servo pipe) thats where mines is.
post a pic of your full engine

my MAP sensor hose is plugged in to the back of the inlet manifold below brake servo pipe that screws on. there is another pipe (fuel vent valve i think) that goes to the small sensor that is screwed to side of inlet manifold. will just get a pic of it

if you have another one.. i would 't' it onto the link between the fuel pressure regulator and the fuel vent thingy...
keave the MAP sensor on its own coming from the branch off the brake servo pipe....

i will connect the map sensor to the brake servo.
should i then connect fuel pressure regulator to where it is just now and the connection below brake servo at the inlet manifold

yeah just leave it... looking at the pics again there and it seems there are more spare connections on the lexmaul thatn the manztel...
the pipe you have going t the MAP sensor in them pics... needs to go to the fuel tank vent thingy... if you have anything else that needs to be connected you need to T into this pipe....

the thing is when i think about the standard inlet it has the exact same amount of connections as the lexmaul
think im going to phone garage this afternoon, will have aplay and if by a miracle i get it going right i will just cancel garage.
going to put standard manifold on tonight and see if i can get it running properly
