have been looking into getting a coupe and was just wandering what these where like performance wise against the GSi.
also if any one has any pics of nice coupe's post em up

1.8 is marginally quicker in the book, probably not much in it on the road.

1.8 16v SXi 125bhp model used to beat my GSi all day long, quiet easily actually.

so the gsi is just as quick at 0-60 as the 2.2 then

yeh book says they're both faster than the corsa i know the 2.2 is but have never had a run in with an 1800. anyone know what they're like for tuning at all???

Fair enough, i didn't know they were that quick, i've been in both and the turbo and the only one that seemed to go anywhere was the turbo model, but those figures aren't too bad

Had a bit of sport with a coupe the other night.. Was able to sit with him through to 4th gear then had to slacken off because of traffic..
Dont have a clue what was in the coupe..

Since when has 9.5 seconds and 123mph been the same as 8.0 seconds and 133mph?
On the road the 1.8 16v Astra (125bhp) and the 2.2 16v will anally invade a GSi, I was invaded by my mates 1.8 16v Astra when I had the GSi.

I actually owned both, well a Astra 1.8 SRI hatch. The astra is quicker but the GSI was more fun & felt quicker. Handling wise the astra wins hands down.
