maybe just turbo lag?? as i haven't drove a turbo before..
when i plant the old right foot, it flies then will stutter for a split 2nd before power kicking in again???
I'm a bit of a novice on the whole turbo side or things???
tried it in 2nd / 3rd and 4th etc and does the same, never noticed what revs are sitting at though when it occurs..
the thing is it is still flying though, feels fast but just the slight stutter annoys me ????
opinions and ideas peeps...

i might change the plugs etc, get a oil and flush etc...

where abouts does it do it mav in relation to full boost.
does it do it just on full throttle, does it do it downhill, high revs low revs.
a turbo car will have lag before boost and when cruising as the turbo has to spool

say i'm sitting in 3rd at 30-40 and plant foot, it takes off and noticeable 'pullback' sort of thing then goes again.....
does it at high revs and low revs i think....does it uphill/downhill and on the flat..

mmmm sounds like the ECU is retarding the ignition. does the boost drop?
it could be the AFM (if it has one). are you running super/optimax.

I was going to suggest it could just be a flat spot, but i thought you'd be used to that after driving the Vec..

you should be able to feel it drop to behonest mav. try unplugging battery for 30mins and see if it does it again. also fiddle with eh AFM connectors to see if they are loose. turbo car should be smooth once on boost. try it going downhill. if it is the ECU pulling back then it shoudl not do it downhill as there is less load. try it on 3/4 throttle too
