Just taken me half an hour to change my address and get a quote on a GSi with a 2 litre in.

"I have spoken to the underwriters and the Corsa GSi 1.6 16v 1993 comes with 1.6 litre engine, it does not come with 2 litre engine"

"Its been changed"

"Yes but the engine is 1.6 litre"

"Its a new engine, he changed it"

"Please confirm it is 1598 cc engine"

"No"

"I have spoken to the underwriters and the Corsa GSi 1.6 16v 1993 comes with 1.6 litre engine, it does not come with 2 litre engine"

I did get annoyed at first, then laughed at how much abuse I was giving her, then when she gave me a quote at over a grand just said no thats rubbish.

Fair point, I can't, but I'm also not employed in a call centre speaking to Indian people.

Its not the persons fault, its the companies fault, they try and cut costs and the net effect is worse communication with customers. Very frustrating.
