Doesn't usually matter what make you buy, it's all the same stuff realy.
Just don't inhale anywhere near it.
It is horribly evil sh*te and will f*ck up your respiratory system etc.

These days it is sometimes labelled as induction system, or intake cleaner.

I've always found Valvoline, Wynns and STP all to be excellent.

Unlike brake cleaner, it is not a multi purpose cleaner that evaporates touch dry.
It leaves a slippery residue due to being a petroleum based solvent - this is so it can break down tacky and sooty blackened deposits left by burnt and unburnt fuel.

If you use it yourself, i'd use it outside and stay upwind of it.
Use an old toothbrush or small bottle brush to get at the realy stubborn stuff and use plenty of the cleaner.

I'd wear a couple of pairs of either vinyl or latex inspection gloves (as it tends to melt them) and a breathing mask and protective goggles if you've got them. You REALY REALY don't want to get this filth on your skin and deffo nowhere near your eyes.

Finally, get yourself a can of brake cleaner aswell and blast everything off with that afterwards, as it will remove the residual carb cleaner and muck and evaporate completely leaving the coponent clean and dry to the touch and safe to handle and take indoors if need be.
