I got my post today and it said 'You as a customer who own a new Road Angel - can now upgrade to the new Road Angel navigator for..."
Considering mine in shops should've been £399! I was thinking ... £10
£299!!!! + £49 for the yearly subscription!
Jesus christ. That's a lot... So I thought how much do they cost ... £599! Is it just me that thinks this is a bit steep, considering if you have a decent phone you can get Tom Tom navigation software or something for it.
I would love the navigator but no way I'd spend £600 on one. Though - I suppose they're aimed at Rep mobile drivers and to be fair I paid no where near £400 for my Road Angel 2

Laser gun detection... what's the point? If you detect it your already nicked!
The laser gun didn't go off when I got nicked for 101.4 mph - as the unmarked behind me decided rather than firing laser, they'd keep the same distance and use their calibrated speedo.
I've been shot at once with laser and the radar detector went off... but I literally noticed the copper 2 seconds before it went off and my brakes were already firmly on when it started flashing and beeping at me.
To be honest I rarely use my road angel 2 these days. Only when I'm going somewhere truely unknown or a long way away or convoying to say santa pod or something.
