well if you dont know i have recently changed my EGR valve idle control valve and now just changed my air mass meter, well..... im still
my car wont start, when i trun my key the eingine doesnt fire up i just get the horrible churning sound untill i give it some gas then it fires up but i still get some rev problems!
i cannot afford any more parts! so what is wrong now?
this has only happened since my Air mass meter has been changed why is it doing this!?
oh and i got it fitted my a mechanic

sounds like fuel or spark prob

mine did this it was down to a split in a pipe to do with breaks n power steering etc as soon as he put his finger over it near manifold fired up well better got it change tis fine now

when you start it, it will only start if you give it throttle?
that suggests to me its a fuel problem
now the lambda sensor and coolent temp sensor both take part in controlling the fueling
then there is the idle control valve and the throttle potentionmeter and possiblt the crankshaft and camshaft sensors

hopefully not!! but like i said its just since i have changed the air mass meter! its just one problem after another!

i changed sensor ended up returning it as wasnt cause got new plugs n leads still nowt then found that and was fine

coolent sensor is cheap try that
also when its running is it rough? does it idle ok when warm?

once its acually idle it seems fine. just starting the bugger up! it has never done this before and straight after changing the bit!

well. i put the old one back in and its back yo its usuall self, so the new part WAS causing the starting problem what now? is the part faulty or is there somthing else wrong?
