anyone on here ever bought sofas from Argos? If so what are they like?
I'm after a 2 and a 3 seater in black leather. I have to buy them as soon as we move in and can't wait for delivery or anything like that...

see if you have a discount place near by they some times have stock that you can have in a few days.

like land of leather and places like that?

not really anything i can do about it mate is there. I can't order the sofas because if they turn up i've got nowhere to put them. When we move in we'll also have nothing to sit on which is why i'd like somewhere that has them in stock to take straight away (or failling that a few days delivery time)

actually near Xmas is the best time cos not alot of sofa's shift, so go get a bargin !

Got mine from DFS  But i seem one on show before i purchased. But saying that, most of the stuff in my house is from Argos

got mine from argos when i moved into my flat, you will after wait 28 days delivery but mine took 6 weeks.

dont need a sofa bed ed.... sofa's are downstairs in the living room and the double bed will go upstairs in the bedroom

Dave could you not go and look in ikea or argos etc and find out if you could pick it up from the store on an arranged date and just hire a van or something. Not sure if your allowed to do this though

CCA - this is what we'll have to do I think. Ikea will let you take them away that day I believe... I don't really like they're stuff though to be honest.

personally if i was buying a sofa then id get it from dfs as long as they had one i liked, my folks got theirs from there and they were really helpful, held the sofa while we waited to have the new carpets fitted and arrived between the times they said they would
