What an adventure i have had today going there. I started of a Whitehall at a freinds house i cycled through darwen town centre, up through Sunnyhurst woods and headed towards the tower. I thought i would take a short cut up a hill but no i got stuck near a ressivar (SP) and i carried on around and i got stuck in some boggy/ muddy ground and eventualy i made it near the top of the big hill and i thought yes im there but no i had further to go. When i got there what a great view it is and what fun it is coming back. Sorry about the essay.

No you can see further than that, you can see blackpool on a clear day.

tho u can see blackpool from anywer really in lancs, used to walk up the road wer i lived in blackburn and u cud see it

Yes even in mellor I did to get fit. Hell it nearly killed me.

Its a top bike round up there. I used to live up Sunnyhurst and went up there all the time. If you go over the back of the tower down in to Tocholes woods there are some ace downhills

On a clear day you can see the snowy peaks of in the lake district

schweet, i havent been to darwen tower for aaaages. sayin that i aint been on my bike for about 4 years, lol
