i turn it one and the screen just goes black and i get a message saying error....
something about windows system 32 needing to be re installed and it just keeps rebooting etc!
WTF IS windows system 32? im on xp btw

no not for the laptop.. although we did upgrade the main computer with xp maybe that will work?
does the laptop sound repairble?

Certainly repairable but two computers can't share the same XP licence, will cause you problems if they're networked.

no they wont be networked... my laptop wont be connected to this computer as it is no longer used lol..
