what do you think is better performance wise? i notice alot of peeps with tuned engines with standard air filters.
does it matter where the holes are drilled?
ive got an induction kit in mine but think i might take a trip down the scrappys to get an air filter again??
also....with a standard air box, i could put my cold air feed going straight in.

opinions please..................

u just concentrate on getting ur scooby back

thats what i think im gonna do cos im unsure of the acceleration with either of them, and looking at rob b's new engine, i got the idea of feeding the standard air box with the cold air feed.

A had both on ma sport.. Filter gave me flat spots and was just too loud so put a drilled airbox on and it was hundred times better.

not true, if the engine runs better with standard airbox then surely it will improve the performance compared to it maybe running rich with a filter

ive drilled 14 , 14 mm holes on the underside of my airbox, the larger the holes the deeper note the smaller the holes the more raspier it is.
