i currently have
AMD Athlon 2200XP
512MB PC2100 DDR RAM
Nvidia Geforce 4 Ti4800
im changing to
1GB DDR PC2100 Corsair RAM
Asus Geforce 6600
You reckon i will see a big performance jump?

See what speed RAM your motherboard will support, PC2100 is quite slow these days......if you can get PC3200 (or above), then you may notice more of a difference.
Graphically, however, a 6600 (get a GT, if you can afford it) will be a massive improvement over a Ti4800.

no PC2100, 266/333mhz is the best i can do

Get the 6600gt.
Should see a good performance jump in games and the extra memory always helps windows along.

you'll see a performance chump with the graphics, especially in DX9 games. Ive a gig of 533mhz ram, with a 6600Gt, does the job

only thing is i think i will be bottlenecked since my mobo only suuprts AGP4X

PC2700 is 333, so I'd go for that (check motherboard spec to make sure all memory-slots support full speed - mine doesn't, 1 x PC3200 and 2 x PC2700).
