Am on a limited budget but wanna move my 1.4 16v Sport out of the 'Standard' bracket.
ATM am thinking bout colour coded wheel arches/bumpers door handles (basically all the black bits painted blue).
Wouldn't mind putting a 6" nail through my back box to give that 'throaty' sound
or perhaps a K&N...

Then if I can find some - what would be a good alloy upgrade from the FF 3-spoke crap it has on atm?
I quite like the SXI wheels...

Any other cheap advice greatly appreciated.

I dont think there is much point with a K&N as its money that could be saved and used somewhere else, depends how much you got to spend. Get a nice set of 15 or 16's and lower it a bit and it will look 10 times better, just depends what you wana spend

IMO Vegasphil has a very simple but effective corsa, really like his car

I'd get a bit of inspiration off his car

sorry but I'm new to this...

care to ellaborate? drill my airbox? explain

How much am I lookin at realistically for a set of SXI alloys 2nd hand (just in case I get offered any)?

I was also looking at Lexus rears and Angel Eyes for the front - any views?

Am I better spraying the bits myself (no experience) or getting a pro to do it? Anyone know of anyone in the west yorks area?

You can get lowering springs from like £60, but a full set up would be best. Gmax kits are about £210 i think, which is a good price for a full set-up. A good setup would be Eibach springs and Koni shockers but your talking at least £400 i think, maybe a bit less.

Also i'd maybe reconsider the lights, Lexus lights have gone out of fashion very quickly and i can imagine angel eyes doing the same. Either leave standard or just get something nice and subtle IMO, maybe smoked headlights or something. I'd sort some wheels and lowering first though, i always think modifying should be done in an order. Defo wheels and lowering first

£28 from LMF Vauxhall, hear nothing but good things about this company or the one above from Ebay

Still think wheels and lowering should be taken care of first

SXI wheels look well nice on a B

I'm modding on a budget! so far debadged, de-rubstripped and have mud go faster stripes on the side, all for free.

Get a set of SXI alloys, panel filter + drilled airbox then save up for a decent set of lowering springs and back box.
