on a corsa b were the heat controls are etc should they light up at night time so u can see them?

you dont need to take it right out the face clips off from the whole unit so its dead easy

Its easy mate,
3 screws to take the surround round the steering column off, 3 screws for the visor round the clocks, then finally 2 more screws holding the clocks in.
Take the clocks out and change the bulbs(twist fit )

yeah, taking speedo out doesn't help change the ones behind the heater panel lol.
i recommend using LEDs instead, get loads on eBay, even if you get white ones, less likely to fcuk up, i've had blue ones in for about a year and a half now and they're still fine.
not that hard a job to do, haynes manual tell you how to get the panel off (although you could manage without, should be a tutorial in here i would guess)

mines were out when i bought it. including the ashrtay light. there a pure bastard to get into..take your time not 2 break anything .
